Halloween 2011

Excellent night at the Summit, maybe the last for a while. I don’t remember the exact setlist but Ido remember new covers included French Fries with Pepper by Morphine and Ween’s Push The Little Daisies.

A Parking Lot, Durango, CO April 10 2010

Great parking lot party.  A place downtown where we can throw a pretty good show without the cops showing up.  Actually they did show up but not for the noise, so as long as we keep the lil whippersnappers away from the keg, we be golden.  Not that the cops are so bad, they usually tell us that we’re sounding better all the time.  I know we started with “Don’t Walk Away”  I know we played “Fame” by David Bowie.  I think for the first time ever we repeated a song but the crowd had flushed by then and we sorta forgot.  Good times all around, the last set was bitchin.   Thanks Durango.  Happy Birthday Parker.

The X-Cafe, Telluride, CO April 3rd 2010 (Aprés Ski)

This was an Aprés gig on the second to last day of the season.  It was damn cold on the patio with cloudy skies and howling wind.  We played the first set then moved our asses inside where it was warm and we played our second set.  No recording exists of this show, and a setlist is unlikely to appear.  Let’s just say we played different covers than we did that night, and some of the same original stuff.  Great place, great people, good times.

The Last Dollar, Telluride, CO April 3 2010

The Last Dollar saloon is an institution in Telluride, CO and we were very happy to play there.   We had just played an apres ski set so we were fresh and warmed up.  Ryan (soundguy) brought sound and lights.  Interesting we used 4 EONs for mains along with 2 giant 18″ scoops for subs.  Sounded siiiick.  We started around 10, played till they turned the lights on (with a short break) and had a great feeling about the show.  Bob’s new BassMurf Moogerfooger thingey is pretty awesome and steadily becoming a great asset.  The jams tonight were probably the best we’ve ever had.

The Gunnison Brewery, Gunnison, CO March 31st 2010

This was one helluva fun show.  While the Gunnison brewery isn’t the biggest venue, it fills with fun people.  We had a great crowd, great times.  Thanks to Alex Ewert for the opening set and the place to crash.  We will return to Gunnison asap.  Setlist… hmmm… not sure that’s gonna happen either, we kinda winged it.

Neko’s Deck, Telluride CO, March 28 2010

Backyard party in the Telluride.  Great people, great place.  We’re tired.

Boulder Draft House, Boulder, CO March 27 2010

Our very first time in Boulder.  Big place, nice stage.  No setlist from here either.  We were in the middle of a “let’s just see how we feel and the crowd feels” kinda phase.  The crowd started off a lil slow then thickened up and danced like butterflies.  Thanks, Boulder

Bobbie’s, Leadville CO March 26 2010

Always a good time at Bobbie’s.  This was a really fun night, we played well and we had fun.  Setlist.. I think there’s one coming, have to check for a recording.

Washpark Grille, Denver CO March 20 2010

We were very well behaved.  Working on a setlist.  Good food!
